travel, travel and travel.....

well, i am back at my office this week after a week trip to sibu, sarawak....hmmm...it has been a busy week for me with my lab work and also my field work which i have to attend to....luckily i managed to handle it well, so everything goes according to plan....

how's sibu? well, i don't find it interesting....it is a boring city....there's nothing to see, so little things to appreciate....most of the people there are Iban and it's hard to find Malays there...and therefore, Malay food is a scarcity there....luckily i had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, so i have to starve a little for lunch...but lucky me, my hotel is in the centre of the town, so McD and KFC is just a few hundred steps away....the hotel food was okay, food serving was very large....the nasi lemak is not as tasty as the nasi lemak in my hometown (suddenly i can smell that aroma....) well, i can't complaint much or otherwise, i have nothing to eat....

all in all, the project runs smoothly....except that the analyser ran out of battery during the last day of the sampling...lucky enough that all the data is saved...phew...can't imagine if the machine is having problem and we have to stay another week in Sibu...well, that's all for now...
